The ocean also allows for water sports such as surfing, boat rides, yacht sails and of course - diving. Divers from all over the world come to admire the Red Sea's gorgeous underwater wildlife and even if you are not trained in scuba diving, a snorkel is more than enough. Just pop your head in the water and you'll be amazed by the color and variety of fish and plants that live just below you.
If you are accompanied by children, there is no need to worry about keeping them busy. Most hotels have a team responsible for exhausting the little ones with pull games, dancing and noisy live shows.
Enthusiastic shoppers will be happy to hear there is no purchasing tax in Eilat. It is, in fact, one large duty free arena. You should go through some of the small vendors and nice shops that seem to be everywhere in the city. But if you find the heat too much, go in to the city's main shopping mall and cool off while you buy sunglasses and clothes for ridiculously low prices.
When night comes don't go to sleep just yet. There are endless opportunities to have fun in this city and out advice it - take advantage of them all. The hotels usually have pool parties and you can also go and eat in one of the city's many fine restaurants.
